Explorer SST LED Tactical Flashlights

The MicroFire Explorer line of compact flashlights places the high brightness Phaltlight SST-50 LED in aircraft grade, CNC machined, matt black, hard anodized bodies. The Explorers are available in three weatherproof models to suite a variety of needs; the rechargeable PTL-1R/SST and PTL-2R/SST models, and the non-rechargeable PTL-3/SST model. All three models have three selectable modes of operation: search, (100%) patrol (25%) and a strobing mode for defense and signaling

The Explorer I & II LED flashlights use rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries powering a high brightness Phlatlight SST-50 LED to produce up to 500 lumens of bright white. The Explorer III non-rechargeable model has a compact battery magazine that takes three standard CR123 batteries. The rear mounted tactical button switch on all three models can select search (100% power), patrol (25% power) or strobing modes of operation. All three Explorer models feature long run times, are water and dust-resistant, and finished with a matt black, hard anodized body. Each Explorer comes complete with batteries, 120 volt AC chargers (I & II models) and a tactical belt holster.
The Explorer I uses two 150A rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries that fit end to end in a slim line handle. Designed for gun mounting, the Explorer I body is 1" in diameter and 8 1/4" long. The SST-50 LED produces 500 lumens of bright white light for a 60 minutes continuous run time in search mode or 20 hours in patrol mode. The D2 120 volt AC cradle charger will recharge the batteries fully in 2.5 hours. Includes T-150 batteries and belt mount pouch. Accessories include a 12 volt DC car charger, color filters, mouse tail switch and 25mm picatinny gun mount.

The Explorer II uses two larger 168A rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries. Batteries fit side by side in the handle for a shorter, more compact body. The Explorer II is about 1.75" in diameter, and only 7 inches long. The T-168 batteries produce an extended run time of
90 minutes on a single charge in search mode and 22 hours in patrol mode. The D2 120 volt AC cradle charger (included) will recharge the batteries in 2.5 hours. Includes batteries and belt mount pouch. A 12 volt DC car charger and color filters are available as accessories.

The non-rechargeable Explorer III is the smallest of the Explorer series. With a removable battery mag that takes three standard CR123 batteries, the Explorer III measures only 5 1/2" long and weighs in at 12 1/2 oz. This small but powerful flashlight maintains peak 500 lumen output for 75 minutes of continuous use in full power search mode. Includes 3 CR123A batteries and belt mount pouch with loops for spare batteries. Blue, red, yellow and green color filters are available as accessories.
